Aeration releases a powdery, sensual character, underscored by hints of macaron and toasted hazelnut, all while maintaining lovely freshness. Palate The attack is caressing, enveloping, and delicate. The concentrated, satin-like texture evokes red fruits and rose, supported by soft-textured bubbles. The finish is voluptuously long, marked by saline and chalky freshness—reminiscent of a sea breeze—and a fine tannic structure devoid of any harshness. Food Pairing This wine elevates duck confit but also pairs wonderfully with roast poultry, fine fish such as turbot, lobster, or even mildly spicy Asian dishes. It is also an excellent match for soft cheeses like Brie or Chaource.
