The Bertani method involves natural grape drying and a long maturation in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by bottle aging. (Bertani) Vintage 2013 was particularly appreciated by critics: in addition to 95 points from Parker, it earned 97/100 from James Suckling and 96/100 from Wine Enthusiast, along with numerous Italian and international recognitions. (Millesima) The official Bertani sheet describes 2013 as an Amarone of great concentration, intensity and complexity, with fine tannins and remarkable structure. The wine shows 15.5% vol and is officially bottled in 2022.
