2012 Mastrojanni Vigna Loreto - Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - 2 Bottles (0.75L)

Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Loreto di Mastrojanni is located in the eponymous vineyard, in the famous town of Montalcino. It is produced from pure Sangiovese grapes, traditionally vinified as red wine and subjected to a maturation of 36 months in Allier oak barrels and a further 6-8 months in bottle. It has a dark and glossy ruby-red color. The nose reveals hints of ripe red fruit, accompanied by elegant spicy notes. On the palate it is large, strong and intense, supported by a good tannic structure and velvety to the mouth. Ideal for contemplation, it pairs wonderfully with all red meat dishes. Tasting notes from the maker The land rich in pebble and tuff, that distinguishes Loreto vineyard, stares at the Sun rising and emphasizes the qualities of the autochthonous Sangiovese. In 2012, summer was long and hot, but well balanced, and this allowed the ideal maturation of this great vineyard. The final result is a wine rich in elegant personality, harmonious and characterized by the perfect balance between its strength and its freshness, its power and its vivacity.
