2009 Kawasaki W650 Bobber Custom by Mike Woolaway

This Japanese-market Kawasaki W650-based bobber was transformed by motorcycle builder Mike Woolaway, formerly of Deus Ex Machina, where he was the US Motorcycle Design Director. This attractive example of his craft uses the W650’s air-cooled parallel-twin engine and classical architecture as the foundation for a more purposeful custom motorcycle. In the spirit of the postwar American bobber, this hand-built custom is simple and sleek, having been stripped of unnecessary components, and will require further work before returning to road use.
