“An extremely rare model, in an elegant colour, with a very attractive estimate!” In 2006, Bentley Motors celebrated the 60th anniversary of hand-assembly at its Crewe factory in the UK. To mark this significant anniversary, Bentley announced a limited-edition run of the Continental GT coupé – at the time the British firm’s best-selling model. The Continental GT Diamond Series draws inspiration from the 2007 ‘Mulliner Driving Specification’ and features an exclusive range of enhancements and refinements, offering Bentley’s traditional combination of top-class performance and supreme luxury. Among the unique features of this model are carbon-ceramic brakes (a first for Bentley’s production models) and imposing 2-inch 14-spoke alloy wheels. Our example was delivered to its first owner on 2 September 2006 by the Bentley Sachsen dealership in Germany, in this elegant combination of Meteor body colour with Beluga upholstery. It remained in Germany until mid-2012, when it was purchased by a resident of Lyon. It changed hands again in 2016, passing to an enthusiast who took great care to provide it with the necessary maintenance and, above all, to keep the service history as complete as possible; as a result, it now boasts a service book stamped from the outset and a substantial collection of invoices. Today, our Bentley is in impeccable condition, further enhanced by recent work, including the replacement of the radiator and the wing motor. With just 88,100 km on the clock, this exceptionally elegant GT is offered at a highly attractive estimate given its quality!
