In 2022, on the occasion of the renewal of the Saint-Émilion classification, Château Figeac attained the rank of “Premier Grand Cru Classé A.” This title rewarded the work of a estate considered one of the greatest wines on the Right Bank for centuries. The château borders the Pomerol plateau, and its gravel terroir is very different from the limestone plateau that surrounds the village of Saint-Émilion. Its most prestigious neighbors are Château Cheval Blanc and Château La Conseillante."
