1982 Moto Guzzi V50 Monza

This bike is an appealing example of the V50 Monza, Moto Guzzi's spirited, small-displacement sporting machine of the early 1980s. Powered by the compact 490 cc transverse V-twin, and presenting in largely stock condition, this is a charming machine from a golden era of Italian motorcycling. Combining shaft drive with a lightweight frame and sporting riding position, the Monza offered an engaging blend of distinctive engineering, accessible performance, and everyday usability. The V50 Monza, with its sporting character, classic Moto Guzzi mechanical sophistication, and distinctively purposeful Italian styling, has attracted an increasingly devoted following among collectors seeking an accessible and distinctive alternative to the mainstream classics. *Please note that the lots offered in the Billy Joel Collection have been in long-term static storage and may not be currently operational. They will require mechanical attention prior to use. car
