Wine bought in Campo Viejo winery in Logroño, Rioja, in 2007. Stored in private cellar up to today. Very good storage conditions This is a very rare 57-year-old traditional Rioja wine was produced in a limited edition by Campo Viejo winery. Fermented and matured for 12 months in a big wooden vat and then aged for 36 to 40 months in cask. Racked 6 times, once every 6 months, using the traditional cask-to-cask Riojan method. Currently, it would be classified "Gran Reserva" by the Regulatory Board of Rioja. 70% tempranillo, 30% garnacha, mazuelo and graciano. Bottled in July 1974 directly from the barrel (not filtered) and placed on the market in 1977. *** All international parcels are shipped to the highest professional standards via premium UPS International Express, the courier’s fastest signature-required service. Each shipment is prepared in a specialist wine box officially certified by UPS / DHL, with every bottle packed individually and protected in three layers of bubble wrap.
