1907-D Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC.

1907-D Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. Exceptional toning graces this extraordinary coin with a combination of golden-orange, rose-apricot, olive-gray and powder blue iridescence that bathes the entire surface. Furthermore the quality is impressive with scarcely any signs of contact. The strike is sharper than usually seen with just a hint of softness on the eagle's left wing and arrow feathers, all else is crisp and complete. Despite a generous mintage from the still brand new Denver Mint in 1907, not many half dollars of this issue were saved and perhaps two dozen can compare with the present example in technical grade, although very few indeed can boast the richness of the toning and strength of eye appeal. PCGS Population: 8; 9 finer (MS-67+ finest). CAC Stickered Population: 6; 2. PCGS# 6509. NGC ID: 24MZ. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
