1901-O Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-66+ PL (NGC). Glowing silver-white surfaces contrast semi-reflective fields with lightly frosted motifs. This may be a plentiful issue in an absolute sense, but PL examples of the 1901-O Morgan dollar are rare at the uppermost reaches of the numismatic grading scale. NGC Census: 5; with a single MS-67 PL finer in this category. The corresponding PCGS Population is similar at 3/1 (MS-67 PL finest). PCGS# 7275. NGC ID: 256K.
