1891 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. MS-66 (PCGS).

1891 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. MS-66 (PCGS). Liberty Seated half dollar production moved up a bit during this, the final year of the series. The 1891 is still a low-mintage affair by any standard, and only 200,000 circulation strikes fell from the dies. We offer here one of the finer examples listed on the PCGS Population Report, a virtually brilliant and intensely lustrous premium Gem Uncirculated survivor. With a bold to sharp strike and expertly preserved surfaces, it will do equally well in a high quality final year type set or Liberty Seated half dollar collection. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS Population: 13; 8 finer (MS-67 finest). PCGS# 6373. NGC ID: 24L6. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
