1851 Gold Dollar. MS-65 (NGC).

1851 Gold Dollar. MS-65 (NGC). Struck at a time of high mintages for the denomination due to the great influx of California gold, this issue is ideal for type collections. The Gem offered here delivers sharp to full strike detail and lustrous, vivid, rose-orange surfaces. Peripheral die cracks at left obverse and several degrees counterclockwise rotation of the reverse add interest. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS# 7513. NGC ID: 25BK.
