1795 Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent / York Cathedral Mule. Fuld Mule-7

Scarce York Cathedral Talbot Mule Finest Seen by both NGC and PCGS 1795 Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent / York Cathedral Mule. Fuld Mule-7, W-8370. Rarity-6. Lettered Edge: FEAR GOD AND HONOUR THE KING. MS-66 BN (NGC). A stellar example of highly elusive Talbot, Allum, and Lee token muling. Boldly lustrous and lightly reflective, toned on both sides in a lovely melange of golden brown and faded mint color. Intense flashes of red surround the central reverse and some protected areas across both sides. Exquisitely and intentionally well struck, perfectly centered on both sides. This piece is the single finest certified in the data of both services and serves as the PCGS CoinFacts plate coin. A collector who seeks to complete their collection of Talbot, Allum, and Lee cent varieties could do no better than this. Provenance: From the Winslet Collection. Earlier from our sale of the Bill Gleckler Collection, March 2021 Auction, lot 1476, as PCGS MS-66 BN. NGC Census: 1; 0 finer. PCGS# 513055. Click here for certification details from NGC.
