1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar. BB-27, B-5. Rarity-1. Three Leaves.

1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar. BB-27, B-5. Rarity-1. Three Leaves. VF-25 (PCGS). CAC. BB Die State II. A well centered early dollar that retains universally bold detail at the VF grade level. There are a few spots at lower obverse, but generally this is a dove and blue-gray example with vivid gold, powder blue and pinkish-rose undertones appreciable as the surfaces rotate into direct lighting. Scattered marks and some glossiness to the texture are consistent with the type and grade, but the in-hand appearance is pleasingly smooth overall. This BB-27 has much to recommend it to the circulated type collector in need of a Flowing Hair dollar. Provenance: From the Warwick Collection, assembled from the 1930s through the 1960s. PCGS# 6852. NGC ID: 24WZ. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
