Tutte le aste / Etnografia / 11.5 cm!- EUCRITE METEORITE Slice
The specimen from this batch is a full-size, large slice of EUCRITE found in Libya in 2022, classified under the official name Jikharra 001. In it we can appreciate its beautifully brecciated lithology, being a recrystallized eucrite. The lithic clasts consist of calcic plagioclase and aggregates of fine-grained plagioclase crystals. Thanks to studies, it has been verified that the HED meteorites (Howardites, Eucrites, and Diogenites) originate from the asteroid Vesta, which makes them differentiated rocky meteorites, that is, achondrites. This is a slice cut with a diamond wire, achieving a large surface area with low weight. We work to offer you the best slices on the market. Exceptional size and quality to add to your collection. Do not miss this opportunity! We are members of the major international associations related to meteorites, and we guarantee the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material for life. Buy with confidence. - Members of IMCA with number #7412 (International Meteorite Collectors Association) - Members of GMA with number #G0095 (Global Meteorite Association) - Members of The Meteoritical Society with number #6667 Best regards and our very best wishes.
