Rudy Hackett was selected with the 1st pick of the third round in the 1975 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Jazz, and in the third round by the Spirits of St. Louis in the 1975 ABA Draft. He played for the Spirits, New York Nets, and Indiana Pacers over two seasons. In 1975-76, Moses Malone wore number 13 with the Spirits for 43 games and Hackett wore the same number 13 for 22 games. Home Spirits jerseys are very scarce! On the right front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's size 44 wash instructions tag. Attached is a flag tag with “4 Inch Extra Length.” Across the front is "SPIRITS ST. LOUIS" in orange on black tackle twill. On the front and back is the player number "13" in orange on black tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "HACKET T" in orange on black tackle twill. The jersey shows nice game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
